PtTe2 is a metal and is paramagnetic. The layers are stacked together via van der Waals interactions and can be exfoliated into thin 2D layers. Platina Ditelluride belongs to the group-X transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDC).
The PtTe2 crystals produced at HQ Graphene have a typical lateral size of ~0.2-0.3 cm, and have a metallic appearance.
