NanoXact Mesoporous Silica Nanospheres – Aminated
Mesoporous silica nanospheres with a bare surface (aminated) are porous materials with a hexagonal (MCM-41 type) pore structure and are available with a diameter of 100 nm. MCM-41 type particles are the gold standard for silica particles used for drug delivery systems (DDS). Their high surface area, easy surface modification and biocompatibility make them ideal for targeted delivery of active pharmaceutical ingredients for cancer therapy and other applications. Open pores on both ends of the particles allow for better encapsulation and release of loaded drugs or other biomolecules.
